Role

- Ensure cohesion between the program elements: organizational partnerships, learning program plan,
cluster operations, evaluation, learner recruitment and selection, communications,
financial and resource management, strategic planning, and business strategy.
- Oversee program administration and organization, including, but not limited to:
- Financial management;
- Management of the program resources; and
- Designing and supporting the appropriate organizational structures necessary for the functioning of the program.
- Ensure the program adherence to UBC and CIHR policies and guidelines relating to ethics,
human resources and financial accounting.
- Support strategic planning and the development and maintenance of strategic alliances.
- Support cross-cluster integration and cohesion.
- Liaise with clusters.
- Co-ordinate communications: Develop and maintain the communication plan and tools.
- Develop and implement policies related to learner selection and recruitment.
- Manage applicant selection process.

The Director, the program manager, and the program secretary.

Accountability

Accountable to the Steering Council.
